MEET RAY
Meet Ray, the talented owner and artist behind The Laughing Buddha Tattoo. With over 18 years of tattooing experience, Ray his passion for art after a workplace accident led to pursue his love for drawing. He completed his apprenticeship under the legendary Eric Bruckner in Brisbane and is comfortable with all styles of tattooing but his joy is in Japanese, neotraditional, and realistic styles. When he's not tattooing Ray enjoys trail running, gardening, and spending quality time camping with his wife, kids, and friends.
MEET LIZZIE
Meet Lizzie, a passionate tattoo artist with over 16 years of experience. She moved to Townsville to master the art of tattooing and has since developed a love for creating realistic portraits, horror-themed pieces, and vibrant watercolor designs. When she's not in the studio, Lizzie enjoys quality time with her husband, kids, and dogs, cherish every moment with her family. Inspired by her big brother Ray, Lizzie is thrilled to continue alongside him, making every tattoo a unique expression of art and love.
Meet Faith! After making the leap from Bowen to Townsville in 2021, she began her journey in the tattooing world as an apprentice at The Laughing Buddha in May 2022. With a passion for traditional and-traditional styles, Faith is dedicated mastering the art of tattooing while also showcasing her versatility across various mediums. Beyond tattooing skills, Faith loves playing the saxophone and cherishes time spent with family, animals, and the beauty of nature.
